JK BMS Monitor is a Bluetooth utility for reading data from JK / Jikong battery management systems. It is developed by Jiří Wendl, Czech Republic.
What the app does with your data
- No data leaves your device. The app has no server, no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no crash reporting. It does not request network access.
- Bluetooth. The app scans for nearby Bluetooth LE devices to find your BMS and then exchanges data with the one you select. Battery readings (voltages, currents, temperatures, settings, event log) are displayed on screen and kept in memory only while the app is running.
- Local storage. The app remembers the Bluetooth identifier and name of the last BMS you connected to, so it can offer one-tap reconnection. This is stored on your device only and is removed when you uninstall the app.
- Location. On Android 11 and older the operating system requires the location permission for Bluetooth scanning. The app never reads, stores or transmits your location. On Android 12 and newer no location permission is requested.
Children
The app is not directed at children and collects no personal data from anyone.
